This plan contains profile of the country, organization of health services in the public sector, the existing surveillance systems and priority diseases, conditions or events selected under the Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response Strategy. The key findings of the assessment, namely strengths and weaknesses, and recommendations for each area assessed. Goals, objectives, key activities, milestones, timelines, resources and budget required to address each core capacity is then presented. Structures and functions of other relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies are also captured as annexes.
